Merge a group with another group

You can merge a group with another group. This involves the properties, the authorisation for the menu functions that is copied from one group to the other group.

Once the groups have been merged, the first group is deleted. The second group has received the properties of the first (deleted) group.

Merge a group with another group:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  2. Go to the tab:Group maintenance.
  3. Select the group.
  4. Go to:Group / Merge with.

    The wizard for merging two groups is started.

  5. Select the groups you want to merge.
    • The first group is deleted after merging.
    • The second group is given all the properties of the first group, including the authorisations for functions.
  6. Click on: Finish.
