Add and activate a page type for cockpit pages (AFAS Online)

In order to publish cockpits add, you must a separate page type and activate it in the properties of the site.

To add a page type:

1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Page type.
2. Click on: New cockpit type.
3. Complete the fields.
4. Click on: Finish.

To activate a page type:

1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Site.
2. Open the properties of the site.
3. Go to the tab: Page types.
4. Select the check box for publishing the cockpits.
5. Click on: OK.

   The site is published again. This may take some time.

To authorise pages:

If you add a page type for cockpits, new functionality is automatically generated in InSite and OutSite. For example, if the new page type is called Cockpits, the functionality is called Cockpits raadplegen.

1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Configuration / Authorisation role.
2. Open the properties of the functionality.
3. Go to the tab: General.
4. Check the Authorisation level field.
5. Go to the tab: Roles.

   Here, you see the roles that were linked to the functionality by default when you added the page type. Users with these roles have access to the pages of this functionality, in other words the cockpits that have been included in the site using this functionality.

   You can adjust the roles by selecting General / In & OutSite / Configuration / Authorisation role. In the properties of a role, you can link other functionalities or remove a link.

6. Go to the tab: Pages.

   Here, you see the pages for viewing the analyses. If it should not be allowed to view a specific analysis based on the functionality, delete that page.
