Block central login environment (Command Line Utility)

You can block the central login environment via the command line using the LOCKENV action. You can also block specific environments via this command line action.

Select the central login environment for the environment.

Note: 

  • /O, /G and /W are mandatory, as well as /O after the action.
  • Enter the name of the central login environment under /O.
  • Enter the user performing this action under /G. Select the Command line check box in the user settings. Authorise this user in the central login environment at General / Environment / Central environment / Unblock. This user does not require any rights to the environment that should be blocked.

Explanation

/O"Environment to be blocked"

The name of the environment to be blocked (mandatory).

/F"Date"

This option is used to include a date and time from which the environment should be blocked. If this option is not present, the current date and time are used.

/M"Message"

This allows you to create a message that is shown to users when they try to log on to the environment while it is blocked.
