Create a batch file with a command line for the Command Line

A batch file for the command line utility contains one or more command lines. A command line always contains an action and a number of options.

Example:

Create batch file:

  1. Right-click the Desktop in Microsoft Windows.
  2. Click on: New.
  3. Click on: 'Text document'.
  4. Open the text document.
  5. Enter the command line.
  6. Click on: 'File'.
  7. Click on: 'Save as'.
  8. Select the 'All files' option for 'Save as'.

    Note:

Do not forget to select the 'All files' option, otherwise you will not be saving the file as a bat file. If you forget to do this, the file is saved as Profitbackup.bat.txt, which makes it impossible to execute the command line.

  9. Enter the file name with the extension '.bat'.
  10. Click on: Save.
