General data wizard for a new environment

If you have added a new environment, the General data wizard will appear when this environment is opened. You record the general settings for the environment in this wizard.

To enter general data:

1. Check the general data for your environment and, if applicable, supplement them.

   

2. Select the currency code: this is the default currency for the environment. Prices and amounts will be displayed in this currency.

   Note:

   You cannot change the currency code later on.

3. Click on: Next.
4. If applicable, enter an extended text in the memo field for the environment.
5. Click on: Finish..
6. Click on: OK..

   Note:

   Next is the Financial data wizard, if applicable. It asks you to enter some codes for some journals and numbers for some ledger accounts. These journals and ledger accounts are then added automatically.
