Payment method

You record the different payment methods.

Description

Select the payment method in the entry layout of the order and invoice, or in the properties of the debtor.

Profit supplies the most common payment methods as a standard feature:

• On account: the payment method for invoices on account. Profit uses the integration type Verkoopfactuur for journalising.
• Cash: the payment method for invoices to be paid in cash. Profit uses the integration type Contante verkoop for journalising.
• You can add the other payment methods yourself. In case of payment methods other than On account, Profit always uses the integration type Contante verkoop for journalising, except if you have selected a suspense account.

  If you selected a suspense account, Profit posts the relevant entry to that suspense account and copies the description of the Contante verkoop integration type.
