Configure alerts based on split responsibility

In the case of split responsibility, differentiate between alerts relating to employees and relating to managers. You send alerts relating to the employees in a department to the manager of the department, but alerts relating to the management go to higher management.

Carry out the same steps as for Alerts based on responsibility.

Add responsibility to an organisation chart:

The responsibility is added and the alert linked to the responsibility. The last step is to add the responsibility to all departments (organisational units) in the organisation chart.

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / Organisation chart.
  2. Open the properties of the organisation chart.
  3. Click on: show employees.
  4. Right-click on an employee in the organisation chart and click on Properties.

    Note:

If the 'Multiple simultaneous employments' functionality is used, you can only record a deviating responsibility for the main employment.

  5. Go to the tab:Responsibilities.

You can add a view with the layer to this tab.

  6. Click on: New
  7. Select the responsibility in Responsibility.
  8. In Group, select the authorisation group that contains the users who are to receive the alert for this specific employee.
  9. Click on: Finish
