Add data using a wizard

When adding data, a wizard will guide you through the steps.  You always use a wizard to add master data (employees, persons, ledger accounts, etc.).

You can adjust the height and width of the wizard window. This can be easier if a wizard has a lot of input fields.

To add data to a view:

  1. Go to: the function.

    Profit shows a view with the data recorded.

  2. Click on: New.
  3. Complete the wizard as thoroughly as possible.

    Make sure to enter the mandatory data, recognizable by a yellow background and the exclamation mark.

    You can move quickly to the next field by using the Tab key and return to the previous field by using Shift+Tab.

  4. Click on: Finish.

    If this button is not available, you have not completed all the mandatory fields.

    After exiting the wizard, Profit displays the new data in the view.
