Add a currency

You can add the currencies that are still missing in the currency table supplied, with a code and default rate.

Note:

Once you change the number of decimal places for the currency, you cannot change it back! Even if you have not made any entries at all yet. However, you can delete the currency if there have not been any entries and then add another currency with a different number of decimal places.

The currencies supplied are configured according to the ISO standards. We recommend that you do not diverge from this. For example, the YEN does not use decimal places while the USD uses 2 decimal places.

To add a currency:

  1. Go to: General / Configuration / Country settings / Currency.
  2. Click on: New.
