Change the price currency decimal setting

You specified the number of decimal places when you added the currency. You can still change the number of decimal places in the price. However, only do this if is it truly necessary.

Note: 

Once you have changed the number of decimal places for the currency, you cannot change it back! Even if you have not made any entries at all yet. However, you can delete the currency if there have not been any entries and then add another currency with a different number of decimal places.

To change the ‘Number of decimal places in price' currency setting:

  1. Go to: General / Configuration / Country settings / Currency.
  2. Open de properties of the currency.
  3. Go to the tab:Currency.
  4. Enter a value in Number of decimals price.
  5. If applicable, add an exchange rate for the currency.
  6. Click on: OK.
