Configure the tax authority as a creditor

If you have added the Tax Authority as creditor, then configure it for automatic payments. This means that you enter the bank account number to which the payments are to be automatically remitted and select the Automatic payment check box.

If you use Invoices in circulation, also select a reviewer.

To configure the creditor 'Tax authority' for automatic payments:

  1. Go to: Financial / Creditor / Creditor.
  2. Open the properties of the creditor Tax authority.
  3. Go to the tab: Bank account.
  4. If Bank account is blank, add the bank account number. If you do not enter a bank account number, you cannot make automatic payments to this creditor.
  5. If the name/city of the bank account number differs from the name/city of the creditor, then enter this:
    1. Open the properties of the bank account number.
    2. Go to the tab: General.
    3. Enter the Deviating name and/or Deviating city.
    4. Click on: OK.
  6. Go to the tab: Payment.
  7. In Bank/giro number, select the bank account number of the creditor to which you must remit payments.
  8. Select the Automatic payment check box.
  9. Go to the tab: Creditor .
  10. In Reviewer, select the user who is going to review the invoice for the tax authority. In this case, the invoice will be automatically blocked. The reviewer can use the 'LH'/'OB' declaration (Profit) workflow to release the invoice for payment.
  11. Click on: OK.
