Add a feature set

Once you have added the ledger set, add a feature set.

To add a feature set:

1. Go to: Financial / Reporting / Configuration / Feature set.
2. Click on: New.
3. Enter a code in Feature set.
4. Enter the description.
5. Select the Kenmerkset uitsluitend gebruiken voor vrije overzichten check box if you are using the feature set for a custom overview and not for reporting.

   If this check box is selected, then Profit will not add the default features Assets, Liabilities and Result. In addition to this, when configuring the feature structure, Profit will not check that all ledger accounts from the ledger set have been linked to one of these three default features.

6. Click on: Finish.

   Once you have added the feature set, configure it.

To configure a feature set:

1. Go to: Financial / Reporting / Configuration / Feature set.
2. Open the properties of the feature set.
3. Select Feature profit and Feature loss.

   You report the result based on these features. If the result is positive, Profit reports this using the Profit feature. If the result is negative, it reports it using the Loss feature.

4. Select a preferred ledger set.

   You link a ledger set to a feature set.
