Automatically read an e-invoice (purchase invoice) using the Command Line Utility

You can use the Command Line Utility to import e-invoices. In doing so, you automate the New wizard for E-invoice.

The Command Line Utility attempts to read the XML messages as e-invoices. The e-invoice is satisfactory if the invoice amount can be read from the XML. Profit only reads files with a .xml or .ubl extension as an e-invoice and, if possible, the .pdf file as an attachment.

Note:

As a user, you need read and write rights (modify) for the file location (folder/share) where the e-invoices are read, because Profit deletes the file after importing it. You specify these rights using Windows Explorer.

To automatically read an e-invoice (purchase invoice) using the Command Line Utility:

  1. Configure the Command Line Utility for the import of UBL.

This command line saves the data from the e-invoice and the associated XML in the E-invoice view.

  2. View the imported e-invoice using Financial / Creditor / E-invoice.
