Merge organisational units in a report

Using the Report to parent OU field in the organisational unit properties, you can merge two organisational units in a report. This may be necessary if you've placed managers in seperate layers and you want to present managers and their departments as a sinlge department in the report.

In this situation, you open the properties of the lowe organisational unit and you enable Report to parent OU. After this, select the appropriate oganisational unit (of the manager). This means that the opened unit and the manager's unit will be merged in the reports.

You will have to modify the reports. Replace the Organisational unit field with the merged organisational unit.
