Add a sub-employment (temporary extension)

You add a sub-employment as an extension if it concerns an extension to the existing FTE figure for the employee.

To add a sub-employment:

  1. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
  2. Open the properties of the employee.
  3. Go to the tab: Contract.
  4. Open the properties of the latest contract for the employment to which you want to add a sub-employment.
  5. Go to: Actions (F8)New subemployment.

    Profit closes the contract properties

  6. Enter the start date.

The start date of the sub-employment is also the start date for the first contract.

Certain data (such as employer, CLA, and income relationship number) applies to the employment as well as to the underlying sub-employment. Therefore, you cannot change this data when adding a sub-employment.

  7. Click on: Next.
  8. Select the  Employment expansion check box.

This causes Profit to generate an appendix as education document.

  9. Select the reason for the employment.

Profit records the reason that you select in the appendix.

  10. Click on: Next.
  11. Select the position and the organisational unit.
  12. Click on: Next.
  13. Complete the timetable.
  14. Click on Next several times and then click on Finish to complete the wizard.

    Note:

Legally, employments and the associated sub-employments must have the same salary. Profit does not enforce this, you must ensure that it is so yourself.

You return to the properties of the employee. You can recognise the new sub-employment by the different colour in the view.
