Specify a language restriction for an InSite page

Some InSite pages will be the same for all languages and cannot be copied, for example the Create leave request page. All fields and descriptions on these pages are translated automatically. You can add a page part to such a page and use a language restriction to specify that the page part should only be shown in one specific language.

Example:

You want to display an explanation on the Create leave request page. This page has a fixed layout, but you can add a part of the Formatted text type. You have a Dutch and an English InSite. You add two parts on the Create leave request page:

  • Dutch text block, with the language restriction Dutch.
  • English text block, with the language restriction English.

On the Dutch InSite the Create leave request page is shown with the Dutch text block. On the English InSite the Create leave request page is shown with the English text block.
