Configure a serial number

If you want to use serial numbers, you must configure this first.

Procedure

• Activate serial articles

  You must first activate the 'Serial numbers' functionality in the environment properties.

• Configure the lot/serial number sub-window

  For each entry layout, you can set it so the sub-window for entry of serial/lot numbers appears when you add an article.

• Add the dossier item type for serial numbers

  If you want to set up a dossier per serial number, you must first add a dossier item type with the destination Item + serial number.
