Delete a site

If a site is deleted, all measurements are also deleted.

Copy a site

When a site is copied, the conversion measurements are not copied. A different site has different URLs and the conversion measurements therefore do not work.

Delete a page

When a page is deleted, the reference to the page is also deleted. The URL fields are not cleared.

Note:

There are reasons why conversion measurements no longer work that we cannot capture. For these changes, the URL fields are not cleared because it cannot be determined whether an experiment still works:

• Modifying site restrictions
• Disabling part of a site
• Modifying a virtual path.

Update sites

The Website Optimizer generates four different scripts. When a website is generated, these scripts are automatically entered on the pages you have added as Conversion page, Original page and Test page. You cannot place these scripts in the pages yourself.
