Complete packing slips after scanning

Once you have completed all packing slip lines on the barcode scanner, you can process the packing slip in Profit.

When the connector is called, the XML message is imported into Profit. When the packing slip lines are processed, the value in the Picked field is changed to Yes. The number of articles actually picked is also updated.

In Profit, a packing slip can have two statuses: Errors after scanner processing or Fully scanned.

If errors are detected during the packing slip processing, the scan status changes to Errors after scanner processing. You must resolve the errors.

If all goes well and the packing slip has been completed, the status becomes Fully scanned. After this, the packing slip is unblocked and, depending on the settings, the packing slip is automatically reported ready or you must report it ready manually.

To resolve scanning errors when the status is Errors after scanner processing:

If errors are detected during the packing slip processing, the scan status changes to Errors after scanner processing.

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Packing slip.
  2. Open the order properties with scan status Errors after scanner processing.
  3. Correct the errors.
  4. Save the order.

    After the packing slip has been corrected and saved, you can complete the packing slip with the barcode scanner.
