Example of journal entries for sales (multiple stock administrations)
In the example below you can see the journal entries that are generated for sales, first for sales with Stock in multiple administrations and below that, for comparison, for sales withoutStock in multiple administrations.

In this example the Holding has two divisions: A and B, each with two warehouses. The warehouses are defined in Profit at environment level and linked to an administration.
A customer order is entered in administration B. The customer orders 2 hard disks. There are no hard disks in stock in warehouse 2 of administration B. The hard disks are delivered from warehouse 1 of administration A.
This results in the following entries:
- Delivery from warehouse 1 (administration A),
- Journal entry for invoice (i.e. generate outstanding item) in administration in B.
Note:
In this example, administration A and administration B can be reversed, or read as administration C and D, etc.
This results in the following journal entries:
Packing slip in administration A |
Articles delivered |
via integration type 7 |
Sales invoice in administration B: journal entries are compressed per warehouse |
|
|
For warehouses in administration B |
Cost price of sales |
via integration type 7 |
For warehouses from other administrations than B, so for example from A (compressed per administration) Two journal entries: |
Adm. B: |
via integration type 13 |
|
Adm. A: |
via integration type 7 |
