Set up a proxy server

You specify the Proxy settings for each job in the communication profile. To do this, you must specify the authentication type, proxy server address, etc.

Here are some examples of valid proxy server addresses:

  • proxy.server.nl
  • proxy.server.nl:8080
  • http://proxy.server.nl*
  • http://proxy.server.nl:8080*
  • https://proxy.server.nl
  • https://proxy.server.nl:8080

    Note:

    For the 'In service' communication profile, you can only use proxy server addresses with protocols 'http', 'https', or 'socks4'.

    Note:

    Contact your system administrator for the correct proxy server settings.

If you make use of are using a proxy server, you must do the following:

  1. Go to: General / Communication service / Communication profile.
  2. Open the properties of the communication profile (Central Management, Communication with Digipoort, Central invoicing or the communication profile for 'In service' processing).
  3. Go to the tab: Connection.
  4. Select the Authentication type for the connection.
    1. Proxy with Windows authentication: select this option if Windows authentication is used for logging on to your proxy server. If you use this option, you now only need to enter the proxy server address.   
    2. Anonymous proxy: If you select this option, you now only need to enter the proxy server address.
    3. Proxy with username/password authentication: you not only enter the proxy server address but also the user name and password for the account used for the communication.
  5. Click on: Finish.
