Set authorisation filter for definition group

For each authorisation filter you can determine which definitions are let through by this filter.

Set authorisation filter for definition group:

1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
2. Go to: Extra/Data filter maintenance (or click ).

   

   For definitions you have two filter types:

   • General - Execute definition (report, analysis, document, etc.)
   • General - Manage definition (report, analysis, document, etc.)

   The first filter type relates to viewing data, the second to management functions (changing, deleting or adding definitions).

3. Select the filter type.

   

4. Click on: Add.
5. Enter the description.
6. Select According to filter.
7. Enter the filter.

   

8. Click on: Refresh.
9. Check if the filter produces the correct result.

   

10. Click on: OK. 
11. Profit reports that only the filter is saved, not the result. Click on: Yes.
12. Click on: Close.
