Add a document layout for general use

Add a document layout that you can use to generate documents which you do not save in the dossier.

To add a document layout for general use:

  1.  Go to:
    • General / Output / Management / Document (all document layouts)
    • Start menu / Subscriptions / Output / Management / Document
    • CRM / Output / Management / Document
    • Financial / Output / Management / Document
    • Fiscal / Output / Management / Document
    • HR / Output / Management / HR document
    • Order Management / Output / Management / Document
    • Start menu / Projects / Output / Management / Document
  2.  Click on: New.
  3. Specify the kind of document layout you want to add:
    • based on an existing document

      Select the document to be copied.

    • based on a data collection

      Select the data collection. Profit uses it to make an empty document that you complete yourself.

    Note: 

    The data collection of a document layout cannot be deleted or replaced by another data collection later on.

  4. Click on: Next
  5. Customise the description and the comments for the report. The other settings are important for the authorisation, amongst other things.
  6. Click on: Finish

    Profit opens the document so you can edit it immediately.
