Record security settings for analyses in Microsoft Excel

If you want to prevent messages when working with analyses, you can record the following settings.

Changing the security settings can affect the security of your system. In case of doubt about the correct settings, always contact your system administrator or application administrator. Follow your organisation's rules regarding the security of systems and data.

To record the security settings for analyses:

  1. Start Microsoft Excel.
  2. Click on: File in the menu bar.
  3. Click on: Options in the menu.
  4. Go to the tab: Trust Center.
  5. Click on: Trust Center Settings.

  6. Specify the settings. The two settings at the top of the image should not be selected.

  7. Go to the tab: 'Macro Settings'.
  8. Select the 'Enable all macros (not recommended; potentially dangerous code can run)' check box.
  9. Close the settings.
