Record CAPTCHA codes (InSite)

You can limit any abuse of the site by applying CAPTCHA codes for logging on.This prevents automated guessing of passwords. After a number of incorrect login attempts, a user will have to log on and provide a CAPTCHA code. The CAPTCHA code is difficult to read for an external system.

If a user makes an error five consecutive times when logging on, the CAPTCHA is shown. The CAPTCHA is also shown if an incorrect login is tried a large number of times from one IP address (regardless of the user who is logging on incorrectly).

If CAPTCHA is not in use, the site is temporarily blocked. As the number of incorrect logins increases, the site is blocked longer.

Note:

You can only apply the method if you use Profit authentication.

For a local installation, you must allow the following URL on the web server (for AFAS Online this is not necessary): http://www.google.com
