A stock profile is a collection of settings that you use to record how Profit should check and replenish the stock of an article.

Using a stock profile, you can specify in one go how Profit should check and replenish the stock of an article. This primarily concerns the settings for stock checking, stock replenishment, order proposals and allocation.
You can set a stock profile for large groups of articles. This speeds up the addition of new articles, standardises the stock administration and gives you quick insight into the flows of goods.
Profit supplies a number of stock profiles:
- Always in stock
- High turnover rate / Bulk purchase
- Order in case of stock shortage
- Small qty in stock, purch large orders immediately
- Never in stock
These are the most common stock profiles. The settings per stock profile are:

Procedure
- Add a stock profile
You can add your own stock profiles in which you record how Profit should check and replenish the stock of an article.
- View articles by stock profile
For each stock profile you can view the articles and assembled items that are associated with the stock profile.
- Change a stock profile
You can change your own stock profiles. The change applies to all articles that are linked to the stock profile.
