Enter the Google ID for the site (OutSite)

When you add an account in Google Analytics, you specify the website you want to track. Google provides you with a unique code, the tracking ID. You record this code in Profit. For certain functionality, you also need to record a verification file.

To record the tracking ID and verification file in Profit:

  1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Site.
  2. Open the properties of the site.
  3. Go to the tab: General.
  4. Check the Site is a test site field. This check box should not be selected. Google Analytics does not work on a test site.
  5. Go to the tab: Google.
  6. Enter the Google Analytics tracking ID in Visitor counter code.

    Note:

Google is working on replacing Google Analytics with Universal Analytics. If you start out with a new Analytics account, by default Google provides you with a Universal Analytics account. If this is the case, you select the Universal analytics check box.

Existing users can continue working with the old solution. If you switch to Universal Analytics, you must select the Universal analytics check box.

  7. Specify the Google verification file in Verification file.
  8. Click on: OK.
  9. Publish the website again. From the moment the site is once again 'live', statistics are tracked in Google Analytics.
