Set up a sales contact for issuing a subscription invoice

For each sales contact you specify if they want to receive the invoices by e-mail and/or if you print the invoice and supply it by regular mail. When an invoice is actually issued, Profit automatically applies the correct issue method for each sales contact.

Each sales contact has one general issue method that applies to all reports, from logistical quotes to subscription invoices.

You can deviate from the default issue method per report type. So for subscription invoices and pro forma subscription invoices you can also set up a deviating issue method and contact person.

Deviating issue method for a subscription invoice for a sales contact:

  1. Go to: Subscriptions / Subscription / Sales contact.
  2. Open the properties of the sales contact.
  3. Go to the tab: General.

    In Preferred issue method, you see the issue method that currently applies to all reports, unless a different issue method has been selected for a report.

    In Preferred contact, you see the contact person that Profit mentions on all reports, unless a different contact person has been selected for a report.

  4. Go to the tab: Digital.
  5. Click on: Maintain.
  6. Select Subscription invoice in Report type:
  7. Select one of the options in Issue method.
  8. If necessary, select a contact or contact person in Contact.
  9. Click on: OK
  10. Click on: Finish
