Release data (unblock)

If data is blocked, the following message may appear: This line has been blocked by user [user name].

Data can be blocked because certain processes do not allow two or more users to work on that process simultaneously or because, for instance, there has been a problem with the server. You can unblock the data manually.

If a user has opened a function and then tries to open it a second time, the above message can appear too. In that case, the user can close the window or click on the function via the menu bar.

Note:

First check if you can release blocked data by closing the Profit function in question or by exiting Profit. If the problem persists, use the below procedure.

Release data:

  1. Go to: General / Configuration / Blocks / Data (user).
  2. Double-click on the type of block for which you received the message.
  3. You now have two options:
    • Release all data
    • Release specific data

      First, activate the selection column by pressing Ctrl+S. Select the lines to be unblocked and click on Release data.

  4. Confirm the action.
