Clear messages in the communication service (Command line Utility)
You can delete communication messages and the corresponding attachments in the communication environment. This way, you can limit the size of your environment. You can also clear messages from environments you are no longer using.
Profit checks whether you are authorised to clear the selected messages. This depends on the message type and the message status. If this is not the case, Profit reports this and the messages are not deleted.
Example:
You can only clear outgoing messages with the status Ready to be sent again after error, Message sent, Receipt of message confirmed or Message sending failed. Due to additional checks it is possible that you may not be able to clear certain messages.
You clear out all messages with a minimum age of 30 days. Profit only deletes message lines with a minimum age of 30 days and then only those lines for which deletion is allowed.
Note:
Clearing messages is an irreversible process, as the messages are permanently deleted from Profit.
You should preferably contact AFAS Support or your consultant before clearing messages.
You can also clear messages via Profit.
