General configuration of the command line
You create a batch file (,bat file) for performing an action from the command line.
Procedure
- Add and authorise a command line user
In every environment that you want to access from the command line, you specify one command line user.
- General options
You can use the general options for every action; usually these options are mandatory. For specific command lines it may be stated that the general options are not mandatory.
- Create a batch file with a command line for the Command Line Utility
A batch file for the command line utility contains one or more command lines. A command line always contains an action and a number of options.
- Configure scheduled tasks
You use the command line in combination with 'Windows Taakplanner' ('Windows Scheduler'). This allows you to have Windows perform command lines at fixed times.
