Generate report (Command Line Utility)

UpdateConnector for generating a report as a PDF file.

Conditions:

• The command line user can only start reports for which he is authorised.
• You cannot start reports that have a mandatory pre-entry. You can test this by manually viewing a report. If you have to enter a pre-entry (for example, year/period from... to) you cannot generate the report using the Command Line Utility. This usually also applies to reports that are started via an action. For those reports Profit automatically performs a pre-entry.

  Note: 

  To perform this action, your licence must include the connector module.

Extra options

 You cannot use the /A (administration) option.

To retrieve the Report ID :

You can retrieve the Report ID of a report by creating a new view in Management report. You can then use this Report ID for the /R option in the REPORT command line.

1. Go to: General / Output / Management / Report.
2. Add a view:
   1. Display the Views toolbar using Ctrl+Shift+K if it is not visible.
   2. Go to: Views /New view....

      

3. Select based on a data collection.
4. Select the Manage report data collection.
5. Click on: Next.
6. Enter the description.
7. Click on: Next.
8. Click Report under Available fields:.
9. Select ID and add it to the fields in the data collection.
10. Click on: Finish.
