Make numbering of organisations and persons determinate

In the settings, you specify whether the numbering of organisations and persons should be determinate for linked purchase contacts, sales contacts, etc. In addition to this, you can also determine whether Profit should number organisations and persons in the same range. If not, then you use separate ranges for organisations and persons.

To make the numbering of organisations and persons determinate:

1. Go to: General / Environment / Management / Properties.
2. Go to the tab: Numbering.
3. Select the desired settings. If for instance you select the Purchase contact check box, then Profit bases the numbering of purchase contacts on the numbering of organisations. In this case, you do not have to set up any auto numbering of purchase contacts. If you do not select this check box, then you will in fact need to set up auto numbering of purchase contacts.
4. Click on: OK.
