General custom file
A general custom file is a table that is not linked to any other table in Profit. You can determine for yourself which fields this table contains. You can use a general custom file, for example, for a list of publications present in your organisation, the cleaning schedule of your building, the update schedule of Profit, etc.
Note:
Without the Enterprise tools (separate module), every environment has 1 general file. With the Enterprise tools, this can be expanded to 10 general files.
Procedure
- Activate a general custom file
If you want to use a general custom file, you must first activate it.
- Configure a general custom file
Add tabs and fields to the custom file.
- Add data to a general custom file
Fill a general custom file with a separate function.
- Configure a general custom file for InSite and/or OutSite
Data that has been recorded in a custom file, can be displayed in InSite, where you can also add, change and delete data. Using OutSite, you can only view custom files.
