Configure the course invoicing
Before you can invoice courses, you must first activate and authorise the functionality. In addition, you need to create locations for the Profit Calendar.
Description
Before adding a course, you first have to configure a number of general settings and tables.
You use data from Profit Financieel to configure the course invoicing. We assume that you have already configured the financial environment.
A course is an article. You add a course to the invoice; this article determines the invoice amount.
Procedure
- Activate the course invoicing
Activate this selection to use the functionality.
- Set up the course invoicing
In the general settings you specify in which administration the journal entries are to be processed
- Course invoice numbering
You set the numbering of the course invoices so that Profit can determine the invoice numbers automatically.
- Add general ledger accounts for course journal entries
You add ledger accounts for journalising the courses. You link these ledger accounts to the journal.
- Add a journal for course journalising
You add a journal for journalising the courses.
- Add an integration type for courses
You add a new integration type so that you can define the settings for journalising.
- Link a course layout to a sales contact profile
In a sales contact profile you can specify a number of settings which apply to the sales contacts that are linked (or will be linked) to the profile. You specify settings for journalising invoices and you link the reports that Profit should use for the order process and invoicing.
