Add a document based on [Organisation/person dossier] Organisations/persons
If you add a document based on a data collection that refers to the table containing data for organisations and persons, you do not select a contact person when submitting a dossier item.
For this document you cannot generate an Attn. line on the basis of the contact person you select in the wizard for submitting a dossier item.
The Attn. line is empty if:

The below example includes the organisation number and the organisation name. In addition, a contact person has been selected. On the letter the value of the contact person field will not be entered and not be printed.
The Attn. line is completed if:
If you do not select a contact person in the wizard, the data for the selected organisation and/or person will be in the letter.

The below example includes the organisation number and the organisation name. No contact person has been selected. The data of the selected organisation/person will be printed on the letter:
Contact person data on the Attn. line:
Usually you will send a letter to a department or a contact person of an organisation. Based on the data collections that refer to the data of organisations and persons, you do not have contact person data at your disposal. Bur you can use the following Attn. data:
- Invoice contact or other contact persons from the Digital tab in the properties of the purchase and sales contact.
You can retrieve the field data in the document using the following steps:
- In the open letter, click on Data collection.
- Select the data collection.
- Click on: Change.
- Go to: Organisation/person / Link / Sales contact or Purchase contact / Invoicing / Contact person invoice / Correspondence / Attn. of line field.
- Add this field to the data collection.
