Align report fields

The report generator has some useful buttons for field alignment, so the fields are neatly arranged side by side or one below the other.

To position fields:

  1. Click on: the field that you want to position.
  2. Move it using Ctrl+Arrow key, for example Ctrl+Left arrow or Ctrl+Right arrow. Using these key combinations you can position a field very accurately.

To align report fields:

After selecting the fields, you use the following buttons:

  1. Move some of the fields in the Detail section so they are no longer in the correct position.
  2. Drag a rectangle around the fields to select them.

  3. Go to: Element / Justify element / Top side or click on .

    Profit aligns all fields with the top side of the highest field

  4. Select the fields you want to align to the left.

  5. Go to: Element / Justify element / Left or click on .
