Specify the entry layout settings for financial entries
With the settings, you specify how the entry program records financial entries.
To specify the settings:
- Go to: Financial / Management / Administration settings.
- Go to the tab: General entries.
- Specify if zero amounts and negative amounts are allowed for entries.
- Select the Copy account name to purchase/sales journal check box to add the description of the ledger account as the description for the financial entry in the purchase and sales journal.
- Select the Copy account name to financial journal check box to add the description of the ledger account as the description for the financial entry in the financial journals.
- Go to the tab: Other entries.
- Select the journal for reconciling invoices.
- Click on: OK.
