Configure public holiday leave
For employees who also work on public holidays, Profit can assign extra leave based on public holidays. For these employees you need to add two leave types: one for normal leave (basic leave type Leave) and one for the public holiday leave.

Description
For the public holiday leave you can link a separate days closed table to the leave type of the public holiday leave. In the case of a standard working week of 36 hours, Profit will assign 7.2 hours of extra leave per year for each public holiday. See also the leave entitlement calculation.
Leave entitlement in the case of start or end of employment in the CLA for hospitals
Profit calculates the prorated leave entitlement at the start and end of an employment. With regard to the leave entitlement calculation, the CLA for hospitals determines that the month of the start of employment must be regarded as a full month if the employee starts employment before the 16th of the month. The same applies to the end of employment, if the employee ends employment after the 16th of the month.
You can specify this in the leave type.
Note:
This only applies to employees who meet the following criteria:
- The CLA for hospitals applies.
- The employee has a variable work pattern (without work timetable).
- The leave period is greater than or equal to a month.
Procedure
- Add days closed tables
You need two days closed tables:
- Empty days closed table
- Days closed table with public holidays
- Link an empty days closed table per employer
- Configure leave types
