Set the main site

You set the main site per environment. Hyperlinks in e-mail messages will refer to this main site. This is also required if you are using only one site.

To set the main site:

  1. Go to: General / Environment / Management / Properties.
  2. Go to the tab: General.
  3. Select the correct site in Main InSite site.

    If the licence contains multiple languages, you can record a main site for each language. You link an InSite site for the basic language and you link sites for the other languages.

    • If you have one InSite site, select it in InSite main site (basic language). It is always mandatory to link a site here. If you have one site and it is in a language other than the basic language, you still have to link it here.
    • If you have multiple InSite sites, select the main site in InSite main site (basic language).
    • If you have multiple InSite sites in different languages, select the InSite main site (basic language) main site. In addition, you select a main site for the other languages.

  4. Click on: OK.
