Add a banner
You add a banner to the page on which you want to display the banner. You can only add a banner to a section of the page with a custom layout (the content).
There are several ways to add a banner to a page:
- Via the CMS editor.
Here you have the button (Add banner).
- Using a Related reference in the properties of the page.
- By adding the banner as a page part.
Note:
If you refer to a page to which no image or text has been linked, Profit displays a space or an empty bullet.
To add a banner:
- Log on and start Site management.
- Open the page to which you want to add a banner.
- Click on: Edit (in the Page frame).
- Click in the Contents box on the page.
Profit automatically adds the banner on the position where the cursor is.
- Click on: (Add banner).
For example, if you click on the introduction text of the page, the Banner button will not be available because it is a fixed zone.
- If necessary, enter a title for the banner.
If you select the Show component frame and title check box, a frame (a line) is displayed around the banner and the title you have entered.
- Select the source of the banner. Here you can choose from the following fixed values:
