Examples of revaluation journal entries from Order management

Example:

  • Article ABC has a fixed transfer price (VVP) of €5, a sales price of €15 and a purchase price of €6.
  • Stock journalising is enabled.
  • VAT 21%.

You can also have journal entries for Order management that are not the result of deliveries or receipts. If you think the articles are not valuated correctly, you can adjust the transfer price.

This will result in a journal entry as soon as there is stock.

You now adjust the transfer price of article ABC from €5.00 to €5.50. There are currently 50 units in stock.

In this example, we assume that the article groups have been configured in a certain way. Please refer to the configuration of the article groups.

The above example results in the following journal entries.

Note:

If you have activated the Stock in multiple administrations functionality, the revaluation entry must be split across all warehouses when the transfer price and/or the price factor is changed. When creating the entries, Profit compresses these per warehouse, and Profit creates a warehouse a revaluation entry per warehouse.

When journalising, Profit compresses the warehouses per administration, as is the case for all stock entries.
