Multiple choice system

The multiple choice system allows you to make choices regarding the composition of the working conditions package by trading off working conditions (sources) for specific targets. If you exchange a source for a target, the value of the source and the target must be the same.

Example:

An employee wants to trade off his holiday allowance against his travel costs.

To this end, you specify the source wage component and the target wage component. In this case:

  • Source wage component: 100.002.048 'Inhouding vakantietoeslag ivm MKA'

You enter the amount that you want to trade off on this wage component.

  • Target wage component: the wage component for travel costs

You enter the same amount as for the source on the wage component for travel costs.

In the Profit CLA and Basic CAO the following wage components are present for this purpose:

  • 100.001.118 'Inhouding salaris ivm MKA'
  • 100.001.116 'Verlaging salaris ivm MKA'
  • 100.009.517 'Verlaging salaris tbv uurloonberekening ivm MKA'
  • 100.002.048 'Inhouding vakantietoeslag ivm MKA'
  • 100.002.049 'Inhouding Eindejaarsuitkering ivm MKA'
  • 100.002.054 'Inhouding Overwerk ivm MKA'
  • 100.001.131 'Inhouding salaris uit meeruren ivm MKA'
  • 100.003.962 'Inhouding op uitbetaald verlof ivm MKA'

    Note:

Each wage component has a comment in which the operation of the wage component is explained. Always take a look at this explanation on the Comment tab in the properties of the wage component in the CLA. If you do not have the wage component available, first activate it.
