Authorise the cost estimate
You can authorise a number of functions and actions for cost estimates.
Authorise a cost estimate:
- Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
- Go to the tab: Group maintenance.
- Select the group to authorise.
- Go to the tab: Menu.
- Click on: + before Menu maintenance / General / Projects / Cost estimate.
- Select the Cost estimate check box.
- Go to the tab: Authorisation.
- Go to: Project / Project / Project.
- Go to: Tabs.
- Authorise the Cost estimate tab.
- Go to: Financial / Debtor / Sales contact/debtor .
- Go to: Tabs.
- Authorise the Cost estimate tab, if applicable.
- Go to: CRM / Sales automation / Forecast.
- Go to: Tabs.
- Authorise the Cost estimate tab, if applicable.
- Go to: Project / Project / Project / Actions.
- Authorise the Create cost estimate action.
This authorises the Actions (F8) / Cost estimate action in the properties of a project.
- Go to: Project / Cost estimate / Actions.
- Authorise actions Properties, Add and Delete.
This authorises viewing, adding and deleting a cost estimate. In this case, these actions (Properties, Add and Delete) are also allowed on the Cost estimate tab in the properties of the project, sales contact and forecast if the user is authorised for this tab.
- Authorise the other actions as well, if applicable.
In the entry layout for the cost estimate, you can add various action buttons by authorising them. For example Item properties and Project properties: You can use these to view the properties of the selected item or the project directly from the entry screen.
- Close the Authorisation tool.
- Click on Yes in the message.
