Link a project phase to an instalment

A project phase can also be used as an instalment. To ensure that you can convert these project phases to instalments, the project phase settings contain the Instalment field.

Linking instalments to a project phase is meant to enable printing the additional information from the project phase on the invoice.

To link a project phase to an instalment:

  1. Go to: Projects / Project / Project.
  2. Open the project properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Phase.
  4. Click on: New or open the properties of a phase.
  5. Complete the fields.
  6. In Instalment select an instalment to link the project phase to.

    You can always change or clear the Instalment field in the project phase.

    If the Ready check box is selected for the project phase, this means that the instalment is completed. In the project phase you can deselect the Ready field, without this affecting the linked instalment.

  7. Click on: Finish.
  8. Click on: OK.
