Options to add a goods receipt
In Profit, you have several options for adding goods receipts:
- Fast, based on an entire purchase order.
- Fast, as a combination of different purchase orders (whole orders or parts thereof)
- Manually, without a purchase order
In the first two cases, Profit records which purchase order line is linked to each goods receipt line.
It is also possible to copy all order lines from a purchase order to a new goods receipt but in this case, Profit does not record a link between the goods receipt and the purchase order. When copying the lines, only the information is copied. You can also copy rules, for instance, from one goods receipt to another.
Procedure
- Add a goods receipt based on a purchase order
You can add a new goods receipt quickly if it is based on a purchase order.
- Add a goods receipt from different purchase orders
- You can combine multiple purchase orders into a goods receipt or copy just a part of a purchase order over to the goods receipt.
- Add a goods receipt without a purchase order
You can add a new goods receipt and complete it manually. You do this, for instance, if there is no purchase order for the goods receipt.
