Modify an entry layout for blanket orders
If you want to use the Blanket order function, your entry layouts must contain the correct fields.
Basic sales order
In your entry layout for the basic sales order, add the following fields:
- End date in the header.
This is to denote the end date of the blanket order.
- Quantity delivered in the line.
Profit uses this field to show the line quantity that has already been included in a sales order line.
- Number of units delivered in the line.
If you also use units in the sales order that differ from the basic unit (e.g. pallet instead of items) then this field will show the calculated quantity delivered. The calculation is as follows: quantity delivered / quantity per unit.
The End date field is already included in the default entry layout supplied for the Basic sales order line (Profit). If you also wish to use the quantity fields, you must add your own entry layout and include the fields there.
Sales order
In the sales order entry layout, add the following field:
- Corresponding blanket order in the entry layout line.
This is where Profit shows the associated blanket order. This field is already included in the default entry layout supplied for Sales order (Profit).
