Work in an environment

This section covers opening an environment and administration and using the menu.

To show all information in Profit in a readable way, it is recommended that you set the text size to 100% in Microsoft Windows 7. Text size settings of 125% or 150% may cause the texts to overlap.

Procedure

• Environments and administrations

  Profit automates the administrative processes within the organisation. You and your colleagues work in a specific Profit environment: you execute the company administrative processes in that environment. An environment can have multiple financial administrations.

• Use the menu and functions

  You start a function from the menu. For instance, go to Financial / Debtor / Debtor to add a debtor. You can also start frequently used functions from the history or from a personal shortcut menu.

• Use windows

  You can start various functions one after the other, but you can use only one function at a time.
