Import a ‘BAPI’ PKI certificate

You will receive two certificates that belong together: the E-certificate and the DS-certificate. You import these certificates into Profit.

You can import certificates that you earlier requested via Profit or certificates that you requested via another channel. You can also import certificates that you earlier exported from a different system or software package.

To import a PKI certificate:

1. Go to: General / Communication service / Communication profile.
2. Open the properties of the communication profile. Communication with tax authority (BAPI).
3. Go to the tab: Certificate.
4. Click on the action: Import.
5. Select the certificates.

   It makes no difference in which field you place a certificate.

   If you exported the certificates from Profit previously, then this concerns the following files:

   • DS_certificaat.crt
   • E_certificaat.crt
6. Click on: Next.
7. The following steps should only be executed for certificates that you did not request via Profit or for certificates that you are reusing:
   1. Select the key files. Sometimes this is not necessary because the relevant information has already been included in the PKI certificate to be imported. If you exported the certificates from Profit previously, then this concerns the following files:

      DS_sleutel.key

      E_sleutel.key

   2. Enter the passwords. Sometimes you do not need to enter the password or only the first password. This depends on the contents of the files to be imported. The passwords are in the ‘certificaat.txt’ file.
8. Click on Complete.

   If you are unable to complete this procedure, check the entered key files and passwords. After this retry completing this action.

The request gets the Request finished; certificate imported. status.
