Mouse doesn't click correcty / on the wrong position in Profit. How is the possible?

If your mouse doesn't click in the right place in Profit, it looks like Profit crashes.

This may be due to the DPI Settings or because the size of the text is not the same for both monitors.

DPI Settings

Note:

Depending on the Citrix version you are using, you can adjust the DPI settings. From Profit 1 onwards, you should use the No, use the native resolution setting.

Change the DPI Settings/ High DPI in the properties of Citrix Workspace. This is related to the DPI settings, select your version of Ctrix below:

Citrix-version 2210.5. or higher

In the latest version of Citrix, it is again possible to change the DPI settings per user. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click on the Citrix Workspace icon and click Advanced preferences.

  2. Click High DPI / (High DPI) and set the setting to No, use the system native resolution.

Once you have saved the setting, exit Profit using the key combination CTRL + F1. Then choose Close or Log off. After Profit is closed, open Profit again.

Citrix-version 2206 thru 2210

n versions 2206, 2207 and 2209 of Citrix Workspace, Citrix has disabled changing DPI settings for end users. AFAS recommends updating Citrix to a more current Citrix version from the Help page ‘Which version of Citrix Workspace do I need?’. In newer versions, it is again possible to change DPI settings as a user.

For Citrix Workspace versions 2206, 2207 and 2202, the IT administrator in your own organisation can determine this setting via Group Policy. Please note that AFAS Support cannot support you with this. For more information, view DPI support changes with Citrix Workspace App for Windows 2206 on the Citrix web site.

In this version of Citrix, it is not possible to change DPI settings on a per-user basis. Only users with administrator (Administrator) rights can change them. To do this, follow the steps below. Keep in mind that AFAS Support cannot support you with this. Another solution is to update Citrix to the version on the AFAS Customer Portal. In this version it is possible to change the DPI settings per user..

  1. Click on the Windows start menu and search for 'regedit'.
  2. Start the Registry editor as an Administrator.

  3. Go to the following path: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies]
  4. Create three folders: Citrix, Citrix ICA Client, DPI.
  5. Create the following registry key in the 'DPI' folder. To do so, click in the window with the right hand mouse button and select New / DWORD (32-bits)-waarde.
    Naam = Enable_DPI
    Waarde = 1
    Type = REG_DWORD

  6. It's not necessary to restart your computer.

Citrix-version lower than 2206

You change the resolution via the DPI settings. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Citrix Workspace icon with the right hand mouse button and click on Advanced preferences.

  2. Click on High DPI and set this to no, use the native resolution.

Once you've saved the setting, close Profit using CTRL + F1. Then select Log off. After Profit has closed, you start Profit again.

Note:

Make sure you change the font size on your computer first. Do you have multiple monitors? Adjust the percentage on ALL screens. Right-click on your desktop and click Display settings. Under the section Scale and Layout, adjust the size of your screen.

Check the Citrix-version

  1. Right-click the Citrix Workspace icon and click Advanced preferences.

  2. Under the Info heading, you will find the version you are working with.

Are you working on a Macbook? Then go through the steps below to change the DPI settings:

  1. Under the Info heading, you will find the version you are working with

Go to Settings and enable the High DPI field.

Beeldschermen instellen

De grootte van de tekst moet voor beide beeldschermen op 100% staan. Stel daarnaast op alle schermen dezelfde resolutie in.

  1. Klik met je rechtermuisknop op je bureaublad en klik op Beeldscherminstellingen.
  2. Onder het hoofdstuk Schaal en lay-out pas je de grootte van je beeldscherm aan (zie onderstaande afbeelding).
    Zorg ervoor dat dit percentage voor beide beeldschermen 100% is.

Gewijzigd toetsenbord

Controleer of je toetsenbord in AZERTY staat (i.p.v. QWERTY). Doorloop hiervoor de volgende stappen:

  1. Klik met je rechtermuisknop op het icoontje van Citrix Workspace en klik op Advanced preferences / Geavanceerde voorkeuren (zie hierboven).
  2. Kies voor Toetsenbord en taalbak en wijzig de instelling. Probeer beide opties om te kijken welke beter werkt.

Derde scherm uitschakelen of dezelfde resolutie op alle beeldschermen

Werk je met 3 schermen? Dan kan het helpen om één van de schermen uit te schakelen. Werk je bijvoorbeeld met twee 4k schermen en als hoofdscherm een UHD scherm. Sluit dan het hoofdscherm af. Stel daarnaast op alle schermen dezelfde resolutie in.
